"How smart is your home? How many of your devices are connected to each other?" With these questions Marcus Hebein, Manager APA-MultiMedia, opened the #14 Mobile Monday Smart Home - Connected Devices.

Cellular: Smart TV – Red Button

DI Thomas Wedl, Country Manager CELLULAR CEE talked about Multi-Screen and the merge of TV, video, tablet & smartphone. A central element in the Smart TV business will be the „Red Button“. With this red button user can get additional information on the TV during a show or a movie.  “Besides TV stations media and brands have now the opportunity to be present on television and will so generate addition commerce”, said Wedl.

anINMEDIA: Vienna in Touch – the bulletin board in the house

Mario Aschbacher, Manager Advertising and Marketing Communications at anINMEDIA, presented „Vienna in Touch“. In this project the classic bulletin board will be replaced by an interactive Flatscreen, which offers information about the latest tram or ordaining doctors and much more.

Loxone: We're not talking about fridge - we're talking about living in a house

Martin Öller, CEO at Loxone, a home automation system provider explained in his lecture, that everybody has his individual living requests. From a good-morning-function to a mother in law-home cinema enabler, a function which allows to activate the right TV channel with one click. Concerning a study of Capgemini Consulting  66% say Smart-Home is attractive and 22% claim an intelligent living-solution would be very attractive.
In a final discussion together with Andreas Regner, Specialist for Application Management CTV Samsung, the panel discussed about data security and the future of smart home.  All agreed that smart home will have an exciting future.
