MoMo meets FHWien: The students impressed Ditech, Interspar, Willhaben & Co with creativity for mobile marketing
How can Interspar use the reach of its leaflets digital, and how can Raiffeisen get five stars in the AppStore. For the third time the students of Marketing- and Salesmangement of FHWien in cooperation with MobileMonday and the Mobile Marketing Association Austria presented their fresh mobile marketing concepts on Monday at the FHWien. Each team had seven minutes only to convince the jury, the audience as well as mobile marketing experts from Ditech, Fernwärme Wien, ING DiBa, Interspar, News, Raiffeisen and Willhaben.
Markus Dejmek lecturer of the "mobile marketing" course was proud of his students, "they have presented creative and technically realizable mobile concepts with the help of story telling".
WILL coverage: with an augmented reality app to success
The winner of the evening, chosen via SMS voting, was team "willhaben". The three campaign aims of the project team were monetize coverage, discover new Ad formats as well as creative business cases. The team presented an innovative augmented reality app to find the perfect apartment including a financial calculator. In addition to this service the app user gets notified via sms if a wanted product is available on willhaben. As new mobile rich media ad they choose the "Bounce/Travel" format. Mag. (FH) Jacqueline Resch, Head of online & Mobile Sales willhaben, was excited about the ideas.
WIN-WIN Situation for mobile marketing
"The students benefit from guest lecturers and their innovative content of teaching provided from the MMAA for the last three years", thanks Martin Pittner, Harald Winkelhofer, Head of Marketing & New Media and president of the MMAA. But not only the students were winners of the evening also the companies benefits from fresh new mobile marketing ideas.

Students of Marketing- and Salesmangement of FHWien will present their fresh mobile ideas at a special edition of MobileMonday on May 21th. Seven groups will introduce their mobile concepts in front of marketing professionals from companies like Interspar, Raiffeisen, Ditech, willhaben and Fernwärme.
7x7 mobile marketing concepts
Each team has seven minutes to present their project report, which is part of the “Mobile Marketing” course held this semester. The Mobile Marketing Association Austria (MMAA) and FHWien teamed up to offer students not only a comprehensive introduction into Mobile Marketing but also an education in step with actual practice.
A mobile marketing expert jury as well as the brand managers of Raiffeisen, willhaben & Co will evaluate the concepts of the students. Furthermore the audience can vote via SMS for their favorite project team.
