Indoo.rs: Students win MobileMonday Demo Night 2010!
10 demos rocked the house at tonight’s MobileMonday, but there was only one winner: Indoo.rs received two C7 devices from main sponsor Nokia and will be nominated for MobilePremierAwards (MPA 2011) in Barcelona. You will never get lost at the airport again or search for vinegar in the aisle of a huge supermarket: Indoo.rs enables location based services indoors, right there where GPS fails (GPS only works outdoors). The winners, Markus Krainz and Bernd Gruber, are students and 22 years old.
Claudia Poepperl from ADAFFIX was one of last years demo night winners and she knows:

APP MARKETING OVERRATED?
ADAFFIX is a very young company, it has been founded in 2009. So what is it, that helped them becoming so successful in such a short time? Was it good App Marketing? „Of course you can go and buy downloads.“, says Claudia, „But we learned that ad-conversion rates are not that good and bought downloads tend to be expensive. This was our sixth and last MobileMonday event for 2010. MobileMonday events are being organized in Austria since 2009 by six volunteers from the mobile industry.
We want to thank our sponsors "Ovi by Nokia" and DIMOCO for enabling us to offer an innovative space for networking and exchanging knowledge in Austria.
We have been welcoming 150-200 guests at each event and we are very much looking forward to start our third year here in Austria in 2011.

MobileMonday #9: Bring back the demo night!
MobileMonday brings back the legendary demo night and will show 10 live demos of great mobile services on November 15th in the Museum of Natural History in Vienna.
1-3-4 = 1 service, 3 slides, 4 minutes
We don´t care much about a hundred boring PowerPoint slides. 1-3-4 means that every demo will be about 1 mobile service only, will have a maximum of 3 powerpoint slides and will be no longer than 4 minutes. Another minute and 30 seconds are reserved after the demo for you to ask questions!
You pick the winner!
Those who demo their mobile services will not only receive lots of honour, applause and admiration, they have also the chance to get nominated for Mobile Premier Awards 2011 in Barcelona. This nomination is exclusively for MoMo Demo Night winners, there is no other way to get there and it is the MoMo community at the event who will pick the lucky winner via SMS voting. Last year we sent adaffix, mobilizy and Calista to Barcelona. Among all voters we will also give away a special prize from our sponsor Nokia ;-)
